Students, Alumni, and the Campus Community are invited to help the Student Alumni Association celebrate Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi’s oldest tradition! During this TAMU-CC Tradition, individuals help us paint the anchor white just for Homecoming, a tradition that dates back to 1947 and the days of the Tarpons and the University of Corpus Christi. This come-and-go event will feature great music, snacks and a keepsake cherished by every Islander and Tarpon.

All TAMU-CC Alumni are invited to attend, but those alumni classes being honored will receive tokens for complimentary drinks and some other goodies. We’ll be at the old bus terminal turned downtown hang-out Bar Under the Sun. Enjoy the awesome atmosphere of downtown Corpus Christi while celebrating all things Islanders.

Campus Brunch Tours
Mary & Jeff Bell Library at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi
8:00 to 11:00 AM
Join the Alumni Association and the Island Ambassadors for a tour of campus. Your experience will include exclusive behind-the-scene stops that you’ll only be able to see on this tour! Tickets start at $10 and include a full breakfast.
Your morning on campus will begin and end with a full breakfast buffet at the Mary & Jeff Bell Library. We’ll have some South Texas breakfast favorites, plus a FULL mimosa bar. Arrive as you like, with breakfast opening at 8:00 AM, and the first tour departing at 8:30 AM. Tours will depart every 30 minutes through 10:30 AM. Breakfast service ends at 10:30 AM…we look forward to seeing you there.

Celebrate Homecoming by joining your Islander Alumni Association at the family-friendly Alumni Corner at the Homecoming Block Party in downtown Corpus Christi. Your ticket includes some South Texas tailgate grub and two drink tickets. Children 5 and under are FREE!
There will also be tailgate games to enjoy with your friends, our famous Homecoming button pins, chance to get your swag at our pop-up shop, activities for the kids, AWESOME giveaways, music and cold drinks!
