CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas—A Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Alumnus and teacher at CCISD’s Kaffie Middle School will make an appearance on the NBC show “Revolution” Wednesday, Oct. 30.

El Paso native, Autumn Caro graduated from Loretto Academy and attended Coastal Bend College in Beeville before transferring to the Island University where she graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts with a Theatre Emphasis.  Caro also received her Master of Science in Secondary Education at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

“There was an open call for background actors and I submitted online,” said Caro.  “One day, I got the call. I was very excited. I enjoy having the opportunity to work in a field I love, in any capacity I can, and learning from every moment. ”

Caro has taught Theatre Arts at Kaffie for 12 years and admits this isn’t her first network TV appearance. She also had a background role in “Friday Night Lights” and “Trooper” as well as being a background actor and on-camera driver for “Killer Women.”

“Trooper” was a TV pilot that did not get picked up by a network.  “Killer Women” will debut on ABC, but they have not announced the air date yet.  Click here for more information on “Killer Women.”

NBC’s “Revolution” airs on KRIS channel 6 Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
